Vacuum Bell Use, Size, and Care

What is a Vacuum Bell device?

A Vacuum Bell is a CE-certified medical device for non-surgical correction of Pectus Excavatum. It applies gentle negative pressure to lift the sternum gradually.

How do I choose the right size?

Models come in Mini (16 cm), Small (19 cm), and Large (26 cm). Use our Measurement Templates (PDF/DWG) to print, test, and select the best fit.

How long should I use it per day?

Start with 30–60 minutes daily and increase gradually based on comfort and your physician’s guidance. Consistency matters more than intensity.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes. Pediatric models are designed for children (typically 6+ years) with softer flanges for comfort and safety. Always use under adult supervision.

Who should avoid using a Vacuum Bell?

Patients with bleeding disorders, severe cardiac conditions, or open skin lesions in the area should not use the device. Always consult your physician.

How do I clean the device?

Rinse with lukewarm water and mild soap after each session. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or abrasive cleaners. Let it air-dry away from direct heat.

Can I exercise while using it?

Light activities are fine. Avoid impact sports or heavy lifting during sessions. Remove the device before workouts.

Where can I get replacement parts?

Pumps, hoses, and accessories are available under Spare Parts & Accessories. Use original BPA Medical components for best performance.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. See our Terms & Conditions and Distance Sales Contract for warranty and return policy.
